Hypnotherapy

You are getting sleepy, very sleepy…Nah, just kidding. But, this is what many new clients are expecting the first time they come for a hypnotherapy session. The truth is that hypnotherapy is a well-researched, safe way to access strengths and abilities you may have forgotten you possessed. In fact, the use of clinical hypnosis is one of the most powerful tools I know of to advance healing, facilitate change and draw out your inner resources.

I never do trance in the first session. Before we engage in hypnosis, we will build a solid therapeutic foundation and develop clear goals for treatment. I work from a strength-based, Ericksonian perspective. This means that I listen carefully, moment- by-moment and tailor my hypnotic suggestions to each individual client. I will never read to you off of a script or out of a book. I believe that each person has an innate ability to experience hypnosis and I will collaborate with you to maximize this skill and utilize it for change.
